End of Summer Tea Party at Byblos Miami

Before shifting our attention to pumpkin spice lattes, pecan pies and maple flavored dishes, there are still a few characteristic summer pleasures to be enjoyed before the season is over, and iced tea is one of them.

The folks behind the Eastern Mediterranean restaurant Byblos have mastered the art of these aromatic and exotic infusions, and for that reason, they recently launched an End of Summer Party to celebrate the last "official" days of the season and bring attention to their famous Moroccan-style iced tea cocktails

From the beautiful presentation with the authentic Moroccan tea pots and cups, to the exotic flavor combinations, there was something about their cocktails that I found completely magnetic and addicting.

Tea cocktails come in different fruity and spicy flavors, some favorites of the night being the Edgware Road, made with Moroccan mint, lemongrass, citron vert, and London Dry gin, as well as the Chili-Spiced Strawberry tea, made with tequila reposado and finished off with cilantro and lime.

Byblos mezze plates represent a marriage of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine with strong influences from both traditional and local ingredients. Some of the highlights of the night included the wood fired pide breads, like the maitake mushroom pide, made with biber chile  and goat cheese, as well as the black truffle pide, topped with buffalo mozzarella, halloumi, and tartufata.

Our experience at Byblos was certainly one to be remembered. The romantic ambiance, the flavorful dishes and original drinks make this a recommended place for a date night in Miami Beach. We also hear that this event was a preview of their soon to be open Byblos Lounge, featuring late night dining and music, so keep an eye out for more details coming soon!

Byblos is located at 1545 Collins Ave, Miami Beach.

  1. This is a nice post on ice tea party!! Well, for me pool parties are the finest summer pleasures to be enjoyed. I annually host the pool holiday party for my kiddos. They enjoy a lot with their friends in the pool party.
