Quattro Offers the Best from Northwestern Italy in Miami


Miami’s diverse restaurant scene offers hungry locals many options, especially when it comes to Italian food. From neighborhood staples that have been throwing down impressive plates of pasta for years, to showy new spots that aim to shake things up, we’re spoiled with options for a solid Italian meal.

Whenever I'm in the mood for something sophisticated and authentic in South Beach, I always end up paying a visit to the guys at Quattro, a Lincoln Road restaurant that has been offering specialties from the Northwestern side of the boot for the past nine years. 


If you are interested in checking them out, or just looking for an excuse to go back, I have good news for you: during the months of August and September Quattro is offering an outstanding Miami Spice menu for lunch AND dinner EVERY day of the week!

MIAMI SPICE LUNCH MENU - $23 per person

My Faves: 

Arancini di Riso alla Siciliana (which translates to little “oranges of rice”) are medium sized balls of risotto stuffed with green peas and beef ragu. The perfect "antipasto", these round beauties can be eaten with your hands and go great with either prosecco or a beer.


Rigatoni alla Boscaiola - this simple yet tasty dish is very popular in the fall in Northern Italy, and consists of tube shaped pasta with a tomato sauce, mushroom and ham. It is surprisingly light and made al dente.


Traditional Piedmonte Tiramisu - this dessert literally means, "a pick me up", and is made with the bold flavors of cocoa and espresso with savory mascarpone cheese layered with lady finger biscuits. Quattro's is made in house following a traditional recipe from Piedmonte, which is where the dessert is originally from. 


MIAMI SPICE DINNER MENU - $39 per person

The Musts: 


The Fried calamari and Zucchini taste surprisingly light despite being fried, and pair beautifully with the marinara sauce. 


The Buffalo Mozzarella Ravioli is another one of my favorite pasta dishes at Quattro. Bursting with hot mozzarella and topped with sliced tomatoes and basil, this is definitely on the heartier side of the menu, but totally worth the calories.


I am not usually a fan of Profitteroles, but the ones offered at Quattro turned me into a fan. Light and not too sweet, these cream puffs filled with ice cream and chocolate sauce are the perfect way to end the night.
