Despite being known as the most important meal of the day, breakfast in Miami is often ignored in favor of its more popular half-sister, brunch. And yes, brunch may be fabulous and all, but there’s something to be said about enjoying some good old cappuccino and fresh pastries.
Fortunately, new breakfast spots have been popping up all around the city lately, including Café Nikki, a new idyllic French café located in the courtyard of Nikki Beach in the South of Fifth neighborhood.
A charming and eclectic space beneath sprawling trees and twinkling bistro lights, Café Nikki features a mix of South of France inspired café furnishings like cozy seating areas surrounded by towering book shelves, suspended wicker swings, and a long harvest table for family get-togethers and meetings with friends.
Pastries and croissants are baked daily in a Pavailler oven imported directly from France, and served with Alain Milliat marmalades and juices from Lyon. Featuring a variety of coffees and teas, homemade croissants, quiches, pastries, and fresh bread daily from Zak The Baker, Café Nikki is the ideal setting for morning breakfasts, casual conversations and afternoon daydreaming in the heart of the South of Fifth neighborhood.
If you live in South of Fifth you are in luck: through September 30th, all residents can check out the place and enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee!
Café Nikki is open Monday – Saturday from 9am til 4pm.
