If you are into having sushi with a view, I have good news for you: this month, the Mondrian's Sunset Lounge will feature its first pop-up dining concept with the introduction of Momo Sushi Shack.
The Michelin Guide-recommended Brooklyn-based Japanese restaurant will collaborate with Mondrian’s Executive Chef to re-create its celebrated menu at the bay front location, bringing it's famous eclectic style and beautifully designed sushi, playful hot dishes and vegan-friendly environment.
“Taking Momo on the road is a really exciting next chapter for us as well as a homecoming for me personally. We are all about having fun and being inventive – Mondrian is the perfect place to do that,” says Philippe Gilmour, one of Momo's owners.
The pop-up will remain in Miami from end of July through October, and will be accompanied by a Japanese whiskey bar. The approachable menu will consist of small plates with prices ranging from $6 - $15 per plate. The destination is designed to cater to guests and locals alike with panoramic views of the Miami skyline.
Mondrian South Beach is located at 1100 West Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139.
