Good news for food lovers... one of my favorite culinary events is returning to Miami... this week! Taste of the Nation, the annual event hosted by Share Our Strength to raise funds to end childhood hunger, will be taking place on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 7 PM to 10 PM at Loews Miami Beach.
What I love about this event is the excellent selection of restaurants that participate in it every year. If you can only make it to one culinary event this year, make sure this is the one!
The soirée will showcase close to 50 of the hottest restaurants from both Dade and Broward counties (think EDGE Steak & Bar, Joe’s Stone Crab, Makoto and MC Kitchen), top chefs, sommeliers, mixologists and brewers.
What's more, the benefit will also feature silent and live auctions, an interactive art display showcasing local artists and a beer garden co-curated by Miami Herald food editor Evan Benn and Chef Bret Pelaggi.
This year’s exclusive Taste of the Nation “Chefs on a Half Shell” after party will feature oyster creations from host restaurant Lure Fishbar as well as The Dutch at W South Beach, Devon Seafood + Steak and Aaron’s Catering.
General admission tickets are priced at $125 per person. VIP tickets are priced at $250 per person and provide access to the event an hour before the doors open, as well as admission to the after party.
